words. In a circular issued on 12 Aug. Archbishop Raul Gonsalves
stated that Goa’s infrastructure appears to be collapsing,
the roads are filled with noxious fumes due to petrol adulteration,
communication lines are invariably dead, power cuts are literally
cutting the people and Goa is now one of the most expensive regions
in the country.
