The Goan Musical Society show of 7 Nov. was sold-out. Rene Barreto, Chairman of the GMS welcomed the Guest of Honour, the Mayor of Wandsworth, Councillor Mrs. Lola Ayonrinde and other guests. Coun. Ayonrinde praised the Goans as a friendly and hospitable people. She said Goans had so much to offer not only to each other and other organisations but also to the Community as a whole. She urged Goans to take an active part in Local Government and offered to help where required.
