61 Senior Citizens enjoyed Concy's fish lunch washed down with feni cocktails at the Goan Assoc. (UK) event last Sunday. They left "belching satisfactorily".

A 22 year old man and a juvenile have been charged with the murders of Lionel Pinto and Susan Collins.

The All Goa Shack Owners Association has asked the Government to reconsider the proposed annual fee of Rs.35,000, Rs.30,000 and Rs.15,000 for a large, medium and small sized shacks respectively.

The High Court has held that there is enough recorded evidence to frame charges against Dominique Sabire, for conspiring with convicted paedophile Freddy Peats.

Mail order company, Otto Burlington's products are now marketed by SNEH Enterprises in Panjim.

Roy Fernandes and four others were found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering Feliciano Monteiro, 62, of Bastora. The Bastora chapel committee decided to fence its property in order to prevent people from using the property as access to houses in the area. However, Roy Fernandes and the others prevented the chapel committee from erecting the fence. In the ensuing altercation, chapel committee member Feliciano Monteiro was stabbed to death.

It is rumoured that a Goa Government delegation will visit London next month for the World Tourism Mart after all.
