in Bombay: as professor of theology, spiritual director (1975-85),
rector (1985-93), and dean of studies (1993 until last year).

From
Lloyd D'Souza, President SOUTH EAST GOANS SPORTS & SOCIAL
CLUB. Did you know that this Club and its predecessor 'Goans of
Plumstead' have been serving the Goan community in the South East
for over 30 years?
* The present committee would like to take this opportunity to
acknowledge the hard work and dedication of all previous committee
members.
* Thank you to all members and guests for their continuing support
and all service providers including bands, discos, caterers &
decorators without whom it would not be possible to stage events.
* To mark this achievement the Management Team has decided to
celebrate the whole of the year 2001. This will take the form
of 'special offers' to members, starting with a trip to the Goan
International Pilgrimage-Aylesford and ending with a BIG celebration
on New Years Eve.
* The management team would like to thank all people who attended
the Feast of St. Francis Xavier at Erith (3/12/2000) for helping
to raise £250 for the Pilar Seminarian Fund. A very big

memory comes to an end on Friday when Australia meet India in
the fifth and decisive one-day international in Goa. The venue

Mar. Independent on Sunday. Warren Noronha (Fashion Designer):
Defiantly modern, strict and - let's not mince words - down-right
sexy, Noronha's work belies his 26 years. He mixes quite the tightest
of trousers - like bandages from the knee down - and strong-shouldered
jackets, with fluid blood-red blossom-printed dresses, all to
great effect.
