Shirley Gonsalves: 3rd June 2001 noon to 4 p.m. The Millennium
International Goan Pilgrimage to Aylesford Priory in Kent. Aylesford
offers a picturesque setting in the Kent countryside. The Priory
has large open-air facilities. Every year various communities
take part in a Community Pilgrimage. At present the Goan Community
is not represented but has been invited to do so. This event will
be ecumenical and multi-cultural for friends and family. Activities
will include art and craft, drama, story telling, music and debate
workshops and will culminate with Mass. We hope the event will
unite the Goan Community from around the world. For more information

this year's GONAS Teacher Exchange, planned for May this year,

All tourists
travelling to Kenya after February 14 will have to pay £35
for a visa, the Kenyan government announced this week.
From April
3 all two-wheeler riders and their pillion passengers in Goa will
be required to wear crash helmets.
Five minor
boys escaped from the children's remand home Bal Niketan in Merces,
one of them for the fourth time. While playing cricket, one of
the boys hit the ball over the fence. When the attendant went
