Boxing
in Goa
Lenny Da Gama from Saligao is seeking for assistance from the
community as well as Goans overseas in helping meet expenses for
"Boxing Championships" to be held in Goa shortly. Lenny is spearheading
the Championships as Boxing Secretary for Sports Authority of
India. The Government of Goa has allotted a meagre amount to have
the Championships organised for 86 Nationally trained Men and
Women Boxers from Andhra, Karnataka, Kerala, Madras, and Pondicherry
in Goa. Lenny Da Gama would appreciate donations for Goan Boxers
as well as any other donations towards the championships.
