looking for a new job after his role was axed in the latest TUI
UK restructure. He moved to the UK from Uganda in 1967 with his
Goan parents and attended school in Sidcup, Kent. As a family
man with two daughters, Mr Mascarenhas also puts his negotiating
skills to good use as a marriage counsellor. He loves to play

Feb. Coventry Evening Telegraph. Coventry's Mayor, Dave Chater
and his wife Chris spent last Christmas in Goa. They enjoyed what
they say was "the best holiday of our lives." However,
they were dismayed at the fate of the poor children who ran the
risk of falling into the hands of unscrupulous 'sex tourists.'
They met up with Anita Edgar, also from Coventry, who helps more
than 150 children and runs 3 boarding school-style homes through
the El Shaddai trust which is supported by Global Care, a Coventry-based
charity. An appeal has now been launched to provide the children

Feb. Travel Trade Gazette. Tour operator Jewel in the Crown Holidays
has pledged to hold winter 2002-03 prices to Goa at this season's
levels in response to increasing demand. They plan a 20% expansion
to 10,000, which was last year's level. They claim that holidays
