António Guterres ignores criticism of the British Conservatives

India demands one million dollars in exchange for holy remains of Queen Ketevan of Georgia
27 Dec: Interpress News. The holy remains of Queen Ketevan of Georgia were found as a result of archeological research in St. Augustine Church in Goa … A priest, Fr Giorgi Razmadze, visited India several times for the return of the remains and he says that the Indian party notified him about the demand at the last meeting. UK: Fr Francis Rosario is home for Christmas!

From Flavio Gracias: Fr. Francis concelebrated the Christmas midnight Mass at his Parish - Ss. Peter & Paul, Mitcham, to the delight of the congregation. He will be back at the Roehampton Rehabilitation Centre today - for more therapy. He was in very good spirits yesterday and happy to be in his Parish and with his parents. He asked to convey his thanks and God’s Blessings to all.

11,500 Goans have become Portuguese Citizens: Election Commission of India

At least six Goans on an average are changing their nationality daily to become Portuguese since the last five years, according to the records available with the Election Commission of India (ECI) in Panaji… a total of 11,500 Goans have surrendered their Indian passport to obtain Portuguese passport between January 31, 2008 to January 31, 2013… <  click here
27,000 Goans have become Portuguese citizens
Portugal granted Portuguese citizenship to over 27,000 descendants of nationals born in Goa, Daman and Diu, since 2007, registering an increase in applications in recent years, according to the Institute of Registries and Notaries (IRN).  click here
The apparent discrepancy can be explained because many Goans have chosen not to surrender their Indian passports after acquiring Portuguese nationality
