Bernie De Souza: Business coach to help financial advisers win back public confidence
14 Sep: Birmingham Post (UK). Midland business coach Bernie De Souza has been chosen by the professional body for the UK financial planning community to run a series of workshops to help financial advisors win back public confidence. Mr De Souza, from Leamington, who specialises in coaching the financial industry, will initially speak at 30 workshops in the first quarter of next year… Keith Richards, chief executive officer of PFS says, “Bernie has spoken at our events across the UK before, helping our members to engage more with clients and the feedback has been great …” Mr De Souza, an international speaker on coaching methods and author, is a main platform speaker at the Million Dollar Round Table in Hong Kong later this year, an annual event which attracts more than 5,000 people… 316 words.

NRIs could soon vote online in Indian polls 15 Sep: Hindustan Times. India has moved a step closer to enabling Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to vote using a web–based e-postal ballot. In addition to 11 million NRI voters, about 50-70 lakh voters on election duty, service voters, those who are overseas and others approved by the Election Commission of India (ECI) will benefit from this system. Every citizen living abroad can enrol in the electoral rolls in India. After that, eligible voters will register online for e-postal voting, and they will be provided four documents in addition to an e-postal ballot paper. All these documents will have a ‘unique identity’ to ensure voter confidentiality, anonymity, privacy and attendance… click here

Indian Christian activist threatened 14 Sep: UCAN. A prominent Indian Christian said he has been threatened online after making comments on a social media network linking an arrested school principal to the country’s ruling political party.
