A year has passed, and it is still hard to believe that you have gone. “He that giveth life, taketh life”. We have a debt of gratitude, for the life of a splendid man. The Republic of Kenya had lost a loyal, honest and respected citizen.

You were a tower of strength to us, and left a void in our lives, that can never be filled. We lost a great father and a great friend. Your generosity to us knew no bounds. You were the best.

When no one else could understand us, when everything we did was wrong, you gave us hope and consolation, and strength to carry on. And you were always there, to lend a hand, in everything we did. We miss you dearly, and your lovely gentle smile. Our flame for you will burn, for a very long while.
